Morgan Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Johnston, RI is seeking an RN Supervisor for a part-time weekend position. The role provides clinical leadership, oversees nursing staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes safe, high-quality resident care.

Qualified candidates must hold an active RI or multi-state RN license and a current BLS CPR certification, with 2+ years of nursing experience. No prior supervisory experience required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of RI or a multi-state license.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws and standards in nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
