Job summary

Berkshire Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Providence, RI, is seeking a Part Time RN Supervisor to oversee daily clinical operations and provide leadership to nursing staff. The RN Supervisor will mentor nurses and CNAs, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing (RI License or Compact).
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Conduct rounds and assess resident conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nurses and nursing assistants.

Position Summary
