Job summary

Meriden Health and Rehab LLC is seeking a highly skilled RN Supervisor for Full Time 7-3p to join our nursing leadership team. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, oversee daily unit operations, implement policies, and support staff development in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes exemplary patient care, staff mentorship, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives, with responsibilities including evaluations, record-keeping, and policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a current RN license in the state of Connecticut.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of healthcare professionals.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Assess and identify opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing plans to enhance patient care and staff performance.
• Collaborate with other departments, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records, including patient charts, attendance records, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to facilitate professional growth and development.
