Job summary

PACS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care setting. This role ensures care quality by aligning with federal, state, and local standards and coordinating with the DON/ADON as needed.

The RN will participate in policy development, staff supervision, and quality assurance, while maintaining documentation and reporting requirements for regulatory compliance and resident care planning.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio with current CPR.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in long-term care.
• Knowledge of federal/state regulations for nursing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tours of duty.
• Develop and maintain policies for nursing service department.
• Ensure staff comply with procedures and regulations.
• Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and QA activities.
• Attend committee meetings and report on nursing programs.
• Coordinate with other resident services to maintain continuity of care.
