Apploi is seeking an experienced Nursing Director to oversee the Nursing Services department in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care.

The position requires strong leadership, clinical excellence, and collaboration with physicians, staff, and the broader care team to maintain safety and compassionate care for residents.

Competenze

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures and regulations in long-term care.
• Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state.
• CPR certification is required.

Mansioni

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and directing day-to-day nursing services operations.
• Communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor practice.
• Participate in admissions decisions and management team meetings.
• Oversee resident care, staffing, budgets, and quality improvement programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve service quality and resident well-being.
• Monitor infection control practices and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• May provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Participate in inspections, surveys, and corrective action plans.
