Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Mississippi Nursing License.
• Experience with standard nursing procedures and MAR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to nursing standards and facility policies.
• Schedule and follow up on resident appointments; report changes to supervisor and physician.
• Assist in resident admission, discharge, and transfer.
• Assist physician with examinations, treatments, and rounding.
• Ensure resident safety and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Administer medications following the Five Rights and document in MAR.
• Participate in in-services and staff meetings; assist supervisor as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive resident care documentation (routine, acute charts, medications, MDS, etc.).
