Winston Medical seeks an RN to provide daily patient care in a nursing home setting. You will administer medications, documentResident status, and collaborate with physicians and supervisors to ensure high standards of care.

The role requires adherence to nursing standards, accurate MAR usage, and participation in a team-based environment. You will help with admissions, discharges, and routine rounds to support residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Mississippi Nursing License.
• Experience in Nursing Home/long-term care setting preferred.
• Deliver medications using the Five Rights and MAR and document
• Maintain safety and maintain cleanliness and comfort of residents.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the standards of nursing care and facility policies.
• Schedule appointments for residents and follow up with phone calls.
• Record and report all observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes to the Supervisor nurse and physician.
• Assist in admission, discharge and transfer of residents.
• Assist the physician with examinations, treatments, tests, and procedures; perform rounds.
• Ensure resident safety by assessing needs for equipment and reporting to the supervising nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean, comfortable environment with proper lighting and ventilation.
• Provide care tailored to each resident and document care accordingly.
• Attend mandatory in-services and staff meetings; assist supervisor when providing in-services.
• Document resident care including routine and acute charting, incidents, readmissions, medications, treatments, MDS charting, Part A charting.
