Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State License as a RN.
• CPR Certified.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents in an environment that promotes rights, dignity and freedom of choice.
• Supervises CNAs and subordinate staff to ensure tasks are completed.
• Manages direct care and supervises nursing personnel on shift.
• Gives and receives shift reports.
• Conducts rounds to ensure safe, clean care.
• Keeps physicians and families informed of residents' condition changes.
• Assists in developing comprehensive care plans and documenting care.
• Maintains infection control and safety practices.
• Preserves residents' privacy and dignity, showing warmth and respect.
• Responds promptly to call lights and assists with admissions/transfers.
