Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Pensacola is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing by planning, coordinating, and directing day-to-day nursing operations on the floor.

The role requires an active Florida nursing license, CPR certification, and at least two years of direct care experience in long-term care plus one year supervising staff; with a focus on regulatory compliance, quality of care, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license
• Minimum two years’ direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings
• Minimum one year as nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home
• Current CPR certification
• Must meet state licensure requirements and have no disciplinary action

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, and coordinate day-to-day nursing functions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and facility policies.
• Review complaints and grievances and report as required.
• Maintain adequate medications, supplies, equipment on the unit.
• Develop assessments of residents’ nursing needs.
• Assign nursing and aide staff as needed.
• Encourage staff participation in outside training programs.
