Five Star Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee daily nursing operations in our long-term care facility. You will lead a team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to deliver compassionate, compliant care and ensure resident well-being.

This role emphasizes mentoring, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with physicians and therapists. You will manage care plans, documentation, and staffing to support a positive, professional environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or hospital settings.
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to deliver high-quality care.
• Oversee care plans and ensure accurate medications and documentation.
• Monitor resident health and provide clinical guidance to staff.
• Conduct regular rounds to evaluate resident well-being, staff performance, and facility compliance.
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions.
• Mentor staff to promote development and best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and support staff in critical situations.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to scheduling, staffing, and shift management.
