Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an RN Supervisor to assist the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient, high-quality nursing care and achieving positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, families, and staff.

The role involves leading clinical operations on assigned shifts, mentoring staff, coordinating with departments, and ensuring appropriate staffing for safe 24/7 care. Eligibility requires RN licensure; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift with compliance to policies and standards.
• Facilitate the care delivery model, mentor staff and coordinate with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staff for safe 24/7 care and minimize overtime.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation and advise on promotions, transfers and terminations.
