Job summary

Genesis is seeking an RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing with delivering efficient and effective nursing care. You will lead clinical operations on the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with policies and delivering high-quality outcomes for patients and staff satisfaction.

You will collaborate on staffing, implement care delivery models, and participate in recruitment, orientation, and mentorship to promote professional growth within our long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN licensure.
• Minimum of three years full-time clinical experience; two years in long-term care with one year in management/ supervisory capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Nursing.
• Lead and direct clinical operations on assigned shift, ensuring policies and regulations are followed.
• Facilitate implementation of the care delivery model and processes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff for 24/7 care while limiting overtime and agency use.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, mentorship, and advise on promotions/transfers/terminations.
