Job summary

Shoreside Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced RN supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing activities on a tour of duty in a Florida facility.

You will monitor care delivery, lead shift meetings, and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards. Requires RN license in Florida, BSN preferred, and BLS/CPR certification. Prior management and geriatrics experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current Florida RN license required.
• Peripheral IV certification.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One-year experience in management preferred.
• One-year experience in geriatrics and subacute population.
• CPR/BLS certified.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing personnel and daily activities during assigned tour.
• Monitor delivery of care and staff performance per policies.
• Plan and conduct shift staff meetings to identify problems.
• Identify problems in care delivery and implement corrective action.
• Report to Director of Nursing as needed.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident services for continuity of care.
• Participate in facility quality improvement and surveys.
• Attend committee meetings (Infection Control, Safety, QAPI).
