Job summary

Qualifications

• One-year geriatrics and subacute population experience
• CPR/BLS certified
• English language proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily nursing care delivery and staff performance
• Plan and conduct shift staff meetings to improve services
• Identify and correct problems in nursing care delivery
• Prepare reports to the Director of Nursing
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services
• Perform safety and quality improvement activities
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
• Oversee staffing, assignments and disciplinary actions as needed
• Participate in orientation and annual performance evaluations
