Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Florida is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee nursing staff, medications, and resident care in a skilled nursing setting. This role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise RN/LPN Charge Nurses, CNAs, and Medication Aids, complete admissions and routine assessments, monitor resident conditions, document clearly, and communicate with interdisciplinary teams and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery medications and treatments along with supervision of RN/LPN Charge Nurses, CNAs, and Medication Aids where applicable
• Completion of required admission and routine resident assessments
• Monitor resident conditions and respond quickly to changes, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care
• Support activities of daily living
• Maintain clear, timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary teams and families
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to protect your residents and your teammates
• Other duties as assigned
