Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day nursing activities, adjusting care plans with medical staff, and ensuring coverage for weekend on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state RN license and be a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure top-quality care.
• Coordinate with Nursing Director on operations and emergency support for shifts.
• Coordinate nursing activities with medical requirements and care plans.
• Manage charge nurses to ensure residents receive proper care.
• Adjust care plans with medical staff for emergencies.
• In absence of superiors, RN Supervisor makes operating decisions as needed.
• Ensure adequate relief staff and notify physicians of significant changes in residents’ conditions.
