Apple Rehab West Haven seeks an RN Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing services in a 90-bed West Haven facility. The role requires weekend on-call and weekend shifts (24 hours per weekend). Competitive rates reflect experience.

You will supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with the Nursing Director to maintain high-quality resident care. Strong leadership and long-term care knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state RN license and be in good standing.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity is required.
• Attention to detail with strong prioritization skills.
• Ability to cooperate and work as a team.
• Long term care experience preferred, with knowledge of rehabilitative practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to guarantee consistent, high-quality care.
• Collaborate with the Nursing Director to strategize operations and emergency support.
• Coordinate nursing activities with medical requirements and physician directives.
• Direct charge nurses to ensure residents receive proper care.
• Adjust care plans with medical staff to address emergencies.
• In absence of superiors, assume operating decisions as needed.
• Ensure relief staff availability and notify physicians of significant changes.
