Job summary

Orchard Grove, part of Apple Rehab Inc, in Connecticut, is seeking an RN Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing services in a 130-bed facility offering STR, long-term care and memory care. The role includes night shifts (11pm–7am), full-time and part-time options, and per diem opportunities.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license and have supervisory experience, with strong teamwork and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state RN license and be in good standing.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity is required.
• Attention to detail and strong prioritization skills are essential.
• Demonstrates teamwork and cooperation with colleagues.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with the Nursing Director to strategize operations and emergency support.
• Coordinate nursing activities with medical requirements and care plans.
• Direct charge nurses to ensure proper resident care.
• Adjust care plans in collaboration with medical staff for emergencies.
• In the absence of superiors, take operating decisions as needed.
• Ensure adequate relief staffing and notify physicians of significant changes.
