Job summary

Apple Rehab Laurel Woods in Connecticut is seeking an RN Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead charge nurses across shifts.

Part-time, full-time, or per diem positions are available. Weekend on-call is required; compensation details and benefits are provided. Competitive pay up to $54/hour with health insurance and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state RN license in good standing.
• Previous supervisory experience in a nursing setting is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Demonstrates teamwork and cooperation within a nursing team.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing and LTC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services for residents while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director to strategize operations and emergency support for shifts.
• Coordinate nursing activities with medical requirements and physician directives.
• Direct charge nurses to ensure proper resident care.
• Adapt care plans with medical staff to address emergencies.
• In absence of supervisors, RN Supervisor makes operating decisions as needed.
• Ensure adequate relief staff before leaving the facility and notify physicians of significant changes.
