Qualifications

• The RN Supervisor must hold a current state RN license and be in good standing.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates cooperation and ability to work as a team.
• Long term care experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to maintain high-quality care.
• Collaborate with the Nursing Director on operations and emergency support.
• Coordinate nursing activities with medical requirements and care plans.
• Manage and direct charge nurses to ensure proper resident care.
• Adjust care plans with medical staff for emergencies.
• In absence of superiors, assume operating decisions as needed.
• Ensure relief staff availability and notify physicians of significant changes.
