Apple Rehab West Haven is seeking an experienced RN Registered Nurse Supervisor in West Haven, CT to lead nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold exceptional resident care. Compensation is competitive, with weekend on-call components.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating with the Nursing Director, and ensuring appropriate care plans and emergency support are in place for all shifts.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license in good standing.
• Experience in supervisory capacity.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong teamwork and cooperation.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to maintain high-quality care.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director to strategize operations and emergency support for shifts.
• Coordinate nursing activities with medical requirements and physician directives.
• Direct charge nurses to ensure proper resident care.
• Adjust care plans with medical staff for emergencies.
• In absence of superiors, take operating decisions as needed.
• Ensure adequate relief staff and notify physicians of significant changes.
