Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health department. This full-time role covers Mon-Wed 10am-10pm with 8-hour shifts every other Thursday, supporting clinical operations and patient care in a dynamic team.

Benefits begin Day One, including health, dental, and vision, plus a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and education assistance. Preference for BSN; RN licensure in state/compact required; 2 years of patient care experience and BLS certification are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• 2 years' experience in patient care is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed; assumes delegated managerial duties.
