Mercy is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health department in the St. Louis area. The role supports planning and coordination of patient care, serves as a clinical resource, and may take on managerial duties as assigned.

A valid RN license and BLS are required; 2 years of patient care experience is expected, with supervisory experience preferred. Benefits start Day One, with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, tuition assistance, 401(k) matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• 2 years' experience in patient care is required.
• Supervisor experience is preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
