Job summary

Mercy seeks a dedicated registered nurse in the Behavioral Health department. The role supports planning, coordination, and evaluation of patient care across designated areas and serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients. You may also perform staff nursing duties and assume delegated managerial tasks when required.

The position is full-time with a Mon–Wed 10am–10pm schedule and every other Thursday 8 hours. Mercy offers sign-on bonuses, ongoing education support, and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in hiring state (or compact licensure) and maintain current status.
• 2 years' experience in patient care; supervisor experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or complete within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the Behavioral Health department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes delegated managerial duties.
