Job summary

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art facility seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead nursing operations within a unit. The role includes supervising staff and, in the manager's absence, assuming 24-hour nursing responsibility for a unit with a specific patient population.

Qualifications include nursing degree, Georgia RN or multi-state license, BLS, and 3 years clinical experience (1 year in specialty); BSN with 2 years in clinical area and 1 year in specialty also acceptable.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three years clinical experience with a minimum of one year in area of specialty OR Bachelor''s degree or higher in Nursing with two years of clinical experience with a minimum of one year in area of specialty.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Nurse or Multistate license (NLC/eNLC).
• Certified in American Heart Association's BLS.
• Color vision adequacy may be required depending on unit role.

REQUIRED:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR

Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.

1. Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
2. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association\'s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

1. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
