Job summary

BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital – Capitol Hill in Washington, DC is seeking an RN Supervisor (PRN-Per Diem). The role supervises nursing staff, coordinates shift handoffs, and ensures smooth unit operations while controlling overtime.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Professional Nursing, a DC RN license with BLS, and at least five years of progressive acute care experience with supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Registered Nurse license to practice in Washington, DC; BLS required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive acute care experience to include supervision and management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate shift handoffs to promote smooth unit operations.
• Implement staffing plans and strategies to reduce overtime.
• Provide leadership, problem-solving, and in-service education; ensure follow-through of operations.
