Job summary

Oceanside Care Center is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead the nursing team on-site. The role involves serving as liaison among families, patients, physicians and hospital departments, while overseeing LPNs and CNAs and ensuring high standards of care.

Responsibilities include investigating incident reports, guiding staff with clinical instructions, reporting activities to senior management, and managing staffing assignments with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Active registered nurse license in the relevant state.
• Experience as RN Supervisor in acute or long-term care settings.
• Administrative leadership experience

D Responsibilities of the RN Supervisor:

• Encourage all staff to adhere to the highest standard of care and conduct annual staff reviews
• Guide, advise, and educate nursing staff with clinical instructions

• Supervise and support nursing staff
• Manage staff and assignments

Requirements of the Clinical RN Supervisor:

• Extensive clinical experience and RN Supervisor in acute or Long-Term Care
• Prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration
• Leadership and mentorship
• Infection control
• Organizational and Multitasking skills
• Listening and verbal communication skills
• Patient Safety focus
• Active applicable state licensure
• American Heart Association issued BLS
