Job summary

Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living in Catonsville, MD is seeking a floor nurse with supervisory responsibilities across skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living and memory care.

You will oversee staffing, ensure regulatory compliance, perform rounds, address resident concerns, and partner with nursing leadership. This shift offers evening/night hours (7:00pm–7:30am, every other Sat/Sun) with an hourly pay of $43.00–$50.00 plus a $2 differential and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year floor nurse experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living or hospital.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Licensed in the state as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform walking rounds through all Continuing Care neighborhoods to ensure nursing staff provide the highest level of resident care.
• Review, adjust and monitor nursing staffing in all neighborhoods to ensure appropriate staff is available.
• Effectively implement a person-centered approach to care, focusing on resident strengths and comfort.
• Assist in resolving resident/family concerns and grievances.
• Lead investigations for injuries of unknown origin, medication errors, and abuse allegations; complete supervisory reports.
• Review documentation in medical records to ensure regulatory compliance and Erickson policy.

Compensation

Hourly rate commensurate with experience: $43.00 - $50.00. Potential shift differential: $2.00 hourly for evening and night shifts.

Schedule

7:00pm - 7:30am every other Saturday and Sunday.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Review documentation in medical records to ensure compliance with regulations, nursing standards of practice, and Erickson policy.
