The Registered Nurse (RN) directs the activities of the nursing staff, including scheduling daily nursing tasks and providing guidance on operational procedures and patient care. The Supervisor Registered Nurse also provides direct patient care, following the nursing process and holistic conceptual framework in developing nursing care plans.
