Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health provides inpatient hospitalization for children and teens, ranging in age from 4 years old, who are in mental health crisis. Kempsville is a bed, acute, residential, and PHP care facility located in Norfolk, VA, near Beltway / Expressway and Sentara Leigh Hospital.

The Registered Nurse (RN) directs the activities of the nursing staff, including scheduling daily nursing tasks and providing guidance on operational procedures and patient care. The Supervisor Registered Nurse also provides direct patient care, following the nursing process and holistic conceptual framework in developing nursing care plans.
