Job summary

Civita Care Center at Danbury is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead a unit, supervise CNAs and other staff, and ensure high-quality resident care. You will assess resident needs, develop plans, and document services for billing while maintaining compliance with policies.

The role requires a current CT RN license, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Open shift, with 32/40 hour availability, Sunday-Wednesday and alternating Saturdays, with weekday evenings as noted.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
• Experience leading nursing staff and coordinating care.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel on the unit, including CNAs and LPNs.
• Assess resident needs and develop care plans.
• Document services for billing and compliance.

Job Title: (RN) Supervisor

Open Shift: Monday 7-3

32/40 Hr 11-7 Sunday-Wednesday and every other Saturday

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate (RN) Supervisor to join our team at Civita Care Center at Danbury. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising the delivery of care to residents on our assigned Unit. This includes assessing resident needs, developing care plans, administering nursing care, evaluating nursing care, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other personnel. Responsibilities:

• Attend therapy meetings and complete assessments of residents at admission and discharge from the unit
• Supervise nursing personnel assigned to the Unit, including CNAs and LPNs
• Document services rendered to residents in the Unit for billing purposes
• Develop care plans addressing immediate nursing problems and prioritize primary nursing problems
• Implement established nursing policies and procedures on the unit, educating nursing support staff according to facility guidelines
• Implement care plans for residents on the unit in compliance with physician's orders
• Review charting on a weekly basis for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures
• Supervise and perform treatments or venipunctures, as needed
• Track infection control, exposure control, and resident care trends to provide proactive improvement

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current state license
• Good leadership qualities, organized, and detailed in work performance
• Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience
