Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care during the shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource, and models the organization’s values to support excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with admissions and discharges to ensure efficiency and quality care.
• Participating in quality assessments of patient care.
• Fostering teamwork and supporting service recovery.
• Implementing nursing strategies to improve engagement.
• Recommending and supporting staff hiring, training, and development.
• Managing staff scheduling and inventory control.

Qualifications required:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification within 1 year
• Neonate Resuscitation certification
• Registered Nurse license
• Associate Degree (BSN preferred)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
