Job summary

Cavalier Healthcare of Trussville LLC is seeking a Staff Educator/Staff Development Coordinator to lead onboarding, orientation, and ongoing education for nursing staff. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing and administration to ensure regulatory compliance and resident-centered care through comprehensive training programs.

The role requires coordination of competency validation, education records, and responsive in-service training to address regulatory changes and quality

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as LPN or RN in the state where the facility is located.
• Experience in staff education and training is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation.
• Develop and conduct mandatory in-service education programs.
• Oversee CNA education and competency programs.
• Maintain education records and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure staffing and training needs.
• Assist with survey preparation and regulatory readiness.
