Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and current RN license required.
• BSN preferred; advanced nursing credentials a plus.
• Current CPR teaching certificate required, if applicable.
• Maintain state CE requirements.
• Minimum three years nursing experience, long-term care preferred.
• Experience as an instructor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff development programs for assigned building.
• Ensure compliance training and document training per regulations.
• Monitor performance and address compliance issues.
• Develop orientation for new and contract staff.
• Manage Employee Health program.
• Provide clinical orientation to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Conduct CPR and new employee training.
• Coordinate OSHA/Risk Management documentation.
• Assist DNS with clinical competency assessments.
