Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator for Park Terrace Village to lead education, skills competency, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance activities under the Director of Nursing Services.

This role focuses on engaging staff, championing recognition and retention, and serving as an advocate for growth and development within the organization, with opportunities to impact resident care and team performance across Indiana facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conducts education, skills competencies, training and clinical observations.
• Uses quality assurance audit tools as directed by the Director of Nursing Services.
• Assists with new employee hiring and on-boarding.
• Engages staff to champion recognition and retention programs.
• Advocates for growth and development within the company.
