Job summary

Benedictine Living in Duluth, MN seeks a Staff Development Coordinator-RN to lead the staff education program in line with federal, state, Benedictine, and community standards.

The role plans and delivers orientation and ongoing education for nurses, CNAs, and other personnel, maintains education records, and drives goals, standards, and policies while promoting the Benedictine Mission of Hospitality and Core Values.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an RN in good standing.
• Excellent communication skills for delivering adult education modules.
• Two or more years of experience in long-term care.
• Knowledge of systems to document training and regulatory records.
• BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and educate staff on Federal, State and Benedictine education requirements.
• Establish and implement a comprehensive orientation program for community personnel.
• Plan, implement and evaluate ongoing education for nurses, CNAs and other staff based on needs.
• Develop, maintain and secure records of education for all associates.
• Drive development and evaluation of community goals, standards of practice and policies.
• Promote Benedictine Mission and Core Values in day-to-day activities.
• Perform other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.
