Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management seeking a registered nurse to lead our professional development program in our long-term care and sub-acute facilities. You will onboard and train staff, implement regulatory training, and ensure credentialing requirements are met.

Meet with the Director of Nursing to discuss career goals, connect with HR about benefits, and tour the facility to understand our patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher in Nursing is required.
• Active RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• 2+ years of nursing experience are required.
• Long-Term Care or SNF nursing experience or Clinical Education/Staff Development experience is strongly preferred.
• CDC-IPCO Certification required or must be willing to complete within 5 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the professional development program in a long-term care and sub-acute care settings.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff, training and facilitation of existing staff, rolling out of new compliance and regulatory training, and ensuring center remains compliant with all regulatory, credentialing and educational requirements.
