Appomattox Health & Rehabilitation Center in Appomattox is seeking an RN for our Staff Development Coordinator position. The RN Staff Development Coordinator manages and provides required education to the entire staff and is also responsible for employee health.

The Staff Development Coordinator works closely with the HR manager to provide new hire orientation and to identify educational needs for continuing education and in-service programs across all staff to ensure clinical skills are up to

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN.
• Minimum 2–4 years of nursing experience.
• Clinical training experience required.

Responsibilities

• Educate and develop staff across the facility.
• Manage employee health programs including Hepatitis B vaccinations and PPD testing.
• Coordinate with HR for new hire orientation and in-service education.
• Serve as Infection Control Nurse and report practices to Infection Control Officer.
