Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service education in accordance with applicable laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires a nursing diploma, an active RN license, and CPR certification. Preferred: 1 year skilled nursing and teaching experience; duties include staff training, records maintenance, and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State with an active RN license.
• 1 year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in-service records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team and follow policy and compliance guidelines.
