Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan and direct all in-service education in our Sullivan, MO facility. You will ensure compliance with laws and Life Care standards while coordinating staff training and maintaining education records.

The role requires an RN license in good standing, a nursing degree, and preferred teaching experience. CPR is required or obtained during orientation, with ongoing certification thereafter.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and current RN license in good standing.
• 1 year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification must be current or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training and education.
• Maintain associate training and in-service records.
• Provide excellent customer service and positive patient attitude.
• Assist in evacuation of patients as needed.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance and strong judgment.
• Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
