Job summary

Bowling Green Health & Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, VA is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to guide nursing education and ensure adherence to best practices. You will develop training programs, coordinate onboarding, and lead competency assessments to empower staff to deliver high-quality care.

You will collaborate with the center’s HR Director, maintain training records, and foster a culture of continuous learning while supporting patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Virginia.
• Experience leading a diverse nursing team.
• Proven ability to develop and coordinate training programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and lead training and in-service education programs for staff.
• Support orientation for new hires in collaboration with HR Director.
• Promote culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and certifications.
• Conduct competency assessments and provide remedial training as needed.
• Support delivery of exceptional patient care.
