Qualifications

Must hold active RN license in Virginia.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate, and direct nursing assistants.
Provide individualized resident care per care plan.
Assist in admission, transfer, discharge of patients.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Explain procedures to gain patient cooperation and alleviate apprehension.
Observe vital signs for deviations and track progress.
Maintain patient medical records of care and treatments.
Record nursing needs on the care plan to ensure continuity of care.
Monitor emotional stability and prepare patients for continuing care after discharge.
Perform other duties to provide exceptional resident care.
