Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator for the Monroe County Rehab & Wellness Center. You will design and implement nursing education programs to improve resident care and staff performance.

The role focuses on competency assessment, on-the-job training, and ensuring compliance with state regulations, with opportunities to lead training initiatives and collaborate with care teams.

Qualifications

• RN with current state licensure required.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement staff training and in-service education for nursing department.
• Monitor CNA skill competency and provide 1:1 instruction as needed.
• Train new staff in deficient areas before clinical tasks are performed.
