Job summary

Liberty Health Benson is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Staff Development Coordinator for Liberty Commons of Johnston County. Role centers on coordinating training, orientation, and in-house in-services while supporting nursing leadership in a long-term care setting.

The candidate must hold an active NC RN license, have 5 years of nursing or nursing education experience, and be CPR certified yearly. Housing and relocation not specified.

Qualifications

• RN with an active North Carolina nursing license and experience in long-term care.
• Ability to teach, train and coordinate staff development programs.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the staff development program for the facility.
• Serve as personnel health nurse for the facility.
• Provide orientation for all employees per policy.
• Conduct blood borne pathogens and hazard communication training.
• Instruct Nurse Aide Training Program as approved.
• Schedule and direct in-house staff in-services.
• Review incident reports with Nursing Management as needed.
• Act as charge nurse or supervisor during nursing emergencies.
