Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) for Liberty Commons of Johnston County in North Carolina. The role focuses on supervising the nursing staff, directing patient care during shifts, and supporting the Director of Nursing in coordinating services.

The ideal candidate holds an NC RN license, CPR certification, and a passion for geriatric nursing.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Provide quality nursing care to patients and follow doctor orders.
• Geriatric nursing interest and experience preferred.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Facility nursing staff during the shift to ensure best patient care.
• Assist Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
• Oversee nursing services in accordance with Nursing Practice Act and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and assist nurses during acute episodes.
• Handle employee issues promptly and document actions; assume on-call responsibilities.
