Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. invites registered nurses to join the Skills Advancement Training Program to gain hands-on homecare experience, mentorship, and confidence through real-world patient care.

You’ll work with experienced clinicians providing one-on-one guidance, with opportunities to learn ventilator care, tracheostomy management, medication administration, and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current PPD or Chest X-ray (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to interventions.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient condition to supervisor or physician.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and coordinate care effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote a safe care environment while adhering to infection control and universal precaution standards.
• Build confidence in delivering skilled nursing care through hands-on experience and mentorship.
