Maxim Healthcare’s Skills Advancement Training Program offers nurses hands-on homecare experience, mentorship, and real-world patient care in the home setting.

You’ll learn one-on-one guidance, clinical training, and opportunities to build confidence while working with Maxim clinicians to deliver safe, high-quality care and advance your nursing skills.

This program supports growth with paid training, weekly pay, and benefits including health, dental, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).
• Passion for learning and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to interventions
• Identify and communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate supervisor or physician
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and coordinate care effectively
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Promote a safe care environment while adhering to infection control and universal precaution standards
• Build confidence in delivering skilled nursing care through hands-on experience and mentorship
