Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is launching a Skills Advancement Training Program for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in the Rockford, IL area.

This program offers hands-on homecare experience, personalized mentorship, and real-time guidance from experienced Maxim clinicians. You will gain skills in one-on-one homecare nursing, patient assessment, ventilator care, tracheostomy management, medication administration, and comprehensive documentation while pursuing a rewarding nursing career with

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable).
• Passion for learning and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to interventions.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate supervisor or physician.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and coordinate care effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote a safe care environment while adhering to infection control and universal precaution standards.
• Build confidence in delivering skilled nursing care through hands‑on experience and mentorship.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License

Current CPR Certification

Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
