Job summary

Senior Lifestyle seeks a Registered Nurse for our Wellspring Health Care Center in a Skilled Nursing environment. The role is full-time days (6am–6pm) focusing on clinical nursing tasks and resident care.

Candidate must hold an active RN license in the state, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of experience in skilled nursing, sub-acute, or memory care settings. Strong teamwork and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license current in the state where practicing and CPR certification.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in nursing from a two-year college or technical school.
• Fluent in English to speak, read, write and communicate with residents and staff.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/administer medications in compliance with federal/state regulations and Senior Lifestyle guidelines.
• May handle admissions including assessments and documentation.
• Complete acute and long-term care/service plans or updates.
• Track clinical data (e.g., wounds, infection control) under the DON.
• Manage discharges, assessments and clinical documentation as indicated.
• Provide general health consultations within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or families of health changes with proper documentation.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and maintain communication across departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information and understand safety plans.
