Job summary

ProMedica Washington Township in Glassboro, New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, follow care plans, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and families to promote wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification, as required.
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Monitor vital signs, pain levels, wounds, nutritional status, and other clinical indicators.
  • Recognize and promptly report changes in residents' conditions to the physician, supervisor, and appropriate members of the care team.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Provide wound care and other treatments as ordered.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, CNAs, LPNs/LVNs, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and their families regarding care, treatment, and changes in condition.
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, medications, treatments, and resident responses in the medical record.
  • Supervise and provide direction to LPNs/LVNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as appropriate.
  • Participate in resident care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and hospital returns.
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and initiate necessary interventions.
  • Promote resident dignity, privacy, independence, and quality of life.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
  • Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility team. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, promote their health and well-being, and work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
