Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care following the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work under Charge Nurse supervision to educate patients and support activities within your competencies and education, requiring strong communication and critical thinking.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year clinic experience.
• Current RN license in the state of employment and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff.
• Administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and assist with minor medical procedures as needed.
• Count controlled substances and ensure compliance with policies and protocols.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP and participate in mandatory meetings and training.
• Communicate patient information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisors as necessary.
